Facebook

Facebook is one of the most popular social networking sites with 400 million users world wide. Teens  especially use facebook to chat with friends and meet new ones. Facebook has both it's positives and negatives towards students social lives.
Facebook has many games, whether they have link to the games or people play status games. There are games like "Truth is..." where someone puts truth is in their status and writes what they truly think of the individuals that like their status. However, Truth is... can cause problems and drama between people, if their true feelings are negative.
Facebook has over 400 million users, and about 75% of them are teenagers. And 27% of teenagers check their facebook throughout the day.
Facebook isn't always so impeccable. People who have facebook put themselves at risk of harassment, being hacked and identity theft. Sometimes this harassment can even lead to legal problems or cyber-bullying. Sex offenders can also use facebook to lure in their next victim. Cyber- bullying, even in the most extreme cases can cause suicide, which can result in legal problems for the bully. In January of 2010, 15 year old, Phoebe Prince committed suicide after being harassed over Facebook by 9 teenagers who resented her for dating an older football player.
Facebook has it's ups and it's downs, but it's a big part in teenagers and students social lives whether they're starting drama or just chatting with friends.

The Guy Code.

Men live by it, Women hate it.
What is the guy code? The guy code is a list of guidelines men should live by in order to maintain manlyhood.
When reading it, women will either find it hilarious, or extremly degrading. The Guy Code is an unspoken set of rules for man, they don't necessarily have to own a set of rules on paper, then just know what is acceptable and what is not. Some examples of the Guy Code are ...

1. Honor your true friends
2. You are not allowed to be a source of information when the girlfriend/ wife is questioning you about your true friends whereabouts. Deny everything.
3. You have to ask permission before dating a friend's ex.
4. Women will be stereotyped as sports virgins unless proven otherwise.
5. If your friend is under the influence and you think he may cheat on his girlfriend, you must attempt to discourage him.

All men regardless of race or color, have the right to practice the Guy Code.
